Information from the gunbroker ad it was seen in:

"I have a very nice G-series with some history. Sometime in the early 70's someone ran a saw through this receiver. Why that happened was taken to the grave with the original owner of the G-series. From the mid 70's until a few years ago, these parts were owned by a fellow firearms enthusiast. The gentleman who sold me this G was in his 70's and knew he'd never fix the rifle. Upon receiving the G, I pulled the receiver and sent it off to ARS (Mark Graham / Gunplumber) for repair. His ninja welder fixed the receiver, Angela of "Angela Engraving" re-engraved (perfectly) the script on the right side of the receiver and then Mark refinished the receiver in his paint over park metacol III finish. The left side of the receiver (FAL, 762) is original. I re-assembled/headspaced the rifle and have never fired it since repair. All of the other parts are original finish. The wood as you can see is exceptional. The proof marks are very strong and the rear stock is the desirable fixed, non-rotating variety."
